Madison central coach Brad Lovely started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Bailey Hensley, 5-7 So. Eden Carter, 5-9 Sr. Kessaney Melton, 5-7 Fr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Fr. Nataya Strader.  Knox Central coach Steve Warren countered with 5-11 Fr. Halle Collins, 5-10 Jr. Reagan Jones, 6-1 Jr. Emily Mills, 5-7 Sr. Caylan Mills, and 5-8 Sr. Presley Partin.

The third quarter once again proved to be the Achilles’ heel for Madison Central as they were outscored 21-7 in the third quarter by Knox Central as the Panthers pulled away to earn a 59-43 victory.  Knox Central was effective from the perimeter and also was able to score off the dribble at will.  There were seven lead changes and eight lead changes all in the first half.  Knox Central shot 41.8% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 27.6% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 19 Knox Central turnovers.

Presley Partin led Knox Central with 20 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Halle Collins added 11 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Reagan Jones recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and three steals.  5-5 Fr. Timberly Fredrick also scored nine points on three three point baskets.  Caylan Mills chipped in with six points and five assists.  Emily Mills recorded five rebounds, two assists, three blocked shots, and two steals.

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 16 points and seven rebounds.  Eden Carter added 13 points including five of six free throws, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Brittany Campbell recorded nine points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
