Bardstown coach James “Boo” Brewer started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Trevon Pope, 6-3 Jr. Will Kroger, 6-9 Sr. JJ Traynor, 6-1 Jr. Javon Smith, and 6-1 Sr. JaRel Montgomery.  Scott County coach Tim Glenn countered with 6-4 Jr. Elias Richardson, 6-1 Jr. Mikaleb Coffey, 6-6 Sr. Terrin Hamilton,5-10 Jr. Chase Grigsby, and 6-0 Sr. Aaron Leake.

Scott County defeated Bardstown by a score of 57-49 in a defensive struggle.  Scott County shot 46.8% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Bardstown turnovers.  Bardstown shot 37% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Tigers connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Scott County turnovers.

Terrin Hamilton led Scott County with 29 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and one blocked shot.  Elias Richardson added 15 points and seven rebounds.  Aaron Leake chipped in with eight points.

JJ Traynor led Bardstown with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  JaRel Montgomery added 16 points including two three point baskets and five rebounds.  Javon Smith recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.
