Model coach John Morgerson started the following lineup: 6-2 Se. Cruise Pingleton, 6-2 Jr. Ethan Bailey, 6-5 Jr. Josh Barrick, 5-9 Jr. Bryson Perry, and 6-2 Sr. Camden Stamm.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-2 Sr. Jackson Smith, 6-2 So. Jack Gohmann, 6-4 Sr. Peyton Pelfrey,  6-3 Sr. Luke Wedding, and 6-3 Jr. Ben Johnson.

Lexington Catholic scored 40 points off 27 Model turnovers and substituted liberally in an 84-54 victory.  Lexington Catholic shot 46.4% from the field including 11 of 24 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and held a 27-10 advantage in bench points.  Model shot 46.3% from the filed including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Patriots connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off six Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Ben Johnson led Lexington Catholic with 18 points including four three point baskets in only 14:12 minutes of playing time.  Luke Wedding added 12 points on four three point baskets and four steals.  Peyton Pelfrey and Jack Gohmann chipped in with 12 and 11 points respectively.  6-1 Jr. Ryan Russell added nine points and Jackson Smith recorded four points, three rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Camden Stamm led Model with 15 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.  Ethan Bailey added 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals.  Bryson Perry recorded 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
