Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay started the following lineup: Sr. Maxwell Morton, Sr. Seth Davis, Sr. Mykel Waide, Sr. Amari Taylor, and Josh Du Toit.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-1 Sr. Sebian Dillard, 6-1 Sr. Marquis Mackey, 6-3 Sr. Marques Warrick, 5-9 Sr. Terron Hughes, and 6-0 Sr. Aziel Blackwell.

 

Henry Clay defeated Tates Creek tonight by a score of 69-61.  There were 10 lead changes and nine ties in this game.  Henry Clay shot 47.7% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 24 of 29 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 12 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 37.9% from the field including six of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Commodores connected on 11 of 20 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Sebian Dillard led Henry Clay with 25 points, four rebounds, and three steals.  Marques Warrick added 21 points including 12 of 14 free throws and eight rebounds.  Marquis Mackey recorded 13 points and five rebounds.

 

Sr. Cion Townsend led Tates Creek with 16 points and five rebounds.  Amari Taylor added 15 points and Mykel Waide recorded 12 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
