Years ago, while Lex is still in Metropolis, he went to Club Zero with a girl. Turns out that this girls boyfriend was there too. Her boyfriend lied to her that he was going away for business trip. He was caught cheating on her and he started to blame it all on Lex for bringing her in the Club Zero.

Angry and all, he attacked Lex and his girlfriend shot him dead. The cop from Rogue episode covers up what had happened in the club. Now the guy who was supposed to be dead years ago hunts Lex to find out what really happened that night at the Club Zero. Lex wouldn't tell him and he was tortured. This guy just wouldn't leave Lex alone. He started to frame him up a whole bunch of time to ruin Lex' reputation in Smallville. Later, the guy who hunts Lex was killed and Lex never got the chance to tell him that his girlfriend is the one who had shot him at Club Zero.
