A man named Tyler visits his illing mother and she asked him to end her life because it is so much pain. Tyler refused to but he ended up doing it anyway. Some of the authority in the hospital saw him as he tries to take off his own mother's breath. The struggle between him and the authority caused him to fall down the building and kills him. The impact caused a kryptonite stone to embed one of his arm making him resurrects back from the dead and giving him the power to turn people into ashes.

Now he visits the town of Smallville and uses his power to help the elderly and illing people end there agonizing pain. His first victim was an old woman who is really ill. He turned her into ashes and this becomes a mystery to all. Later Martha found out about it and Clark too. Later his next target is Whitney's father who is really sick.

Clark was able to stop him for taking Whitney's father's life. Also in this episode, Jonathan Kent and Clark has some arguments about there upcomming fishing trip. Clark sort of raises his voice on his father because he thinks that he is being treated as a boy. Everything works out in the end though. Whitney's father is feeling better and he get to watch his son play football and Clark got a kiss on the cheek from Lana. OOHH..
