Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) and Whitney Fordman (Eric Johnson) were out horse riding when they heard an explosion. A gas pipe blew off and then a huge barage of explosion happened while they were at the scene. Lana was thrown and was covered with dirt with tiny bits of meteor rocks (Kryptonite). This gave her a temporary special power. Clark and Chloe visited her at the hospital. Chloe left and she took off to the parking lot. Chloe is attacked by someone and Lana sees everything. She now temporarily posesses the ability to through the attackers eye.

Chloe was never heard of for days and again Lana got this vision of her being kept from a dark room. She told Clark about it and then later police found her car abandoned in the woods. Meanwhile. Lex and a metropolis reporter visited a man who said he saw a spaceship crashed down during the meteor shower. Lex didn't paid much attention to it but his reporter does. He starts spying on the Kent's especially Clark. Later, a land test was in a process near the Kent's farm, Jonathan was worried that they might find a clue because that place is exactly where Clark's spaceship landed. They did found a small fragment of allow. This is part of Clark's ship with the superman logo on it.

Again, Lana saw images of Chloe getting burried and now she is sure where she is. She told Clark and he went to rescue her. Now Chloe is at the hospital and Lana is the next victim. She was kidnapped by the attacker and asked her how she saw through his eyes. The attacker is officer Watts, he is the first to arrive on the scene when the explosion happened which gave Lana her power. The officer just wants to get promoted for Chloe's rescue and now he wants to kill Lana so he can solve her murder case.

Clark rushes over to the scene and stopped the officer before shooting Lana. Again, Lex reporter was there spying on Clark and he now knows about his powers. Lana is now safe and the mad officer is killed by his fellow officers. Later, Clark asked Chloe to be his date at the Spring Formal since he cannot ask Lana because she is going with Whitney.

NOTE: The Spring formal will be on the next episode, "Tempest". This will be the Smallville season finale airing of May 21, 2002.
SPOILER: Twister hits Smallville and Lana is in the middle of it. Also Clark's spaceship and his powers was discovered by Lex's reporter. Clark retrieved the little piece of allow and he might use it to open the ship. DON'T MISS THIS!!
