In the beginning of this episode, Clark was trying to save a classmate from falling down a very high bridge. His name is Eric. Eric is controlled by his father who is also a teacher at Smallville High. Mr. Summers, Eric's Dad and his class were at a forest looking for some strange rocks. Eric found one of them and took off to a bridge nearby. The students are about to leave because of a thunderstorm's beginning to build up but Eric is nowhere to be found. So Clark went off to find him. Eric was about to fall from the bridge but Clark was there to hold on to him. suddenly, they were hit by lighting. Eric was holding at this meteor rock and in result, Clark's super powers were leeched to Eric.

Now Eric is the new superboy. At first, he uses his new talent for good, but then he abused it and Clark had to stop him from hurting anybody. Eric went out beating people up, throwing cars and messing up his own house. The cops couldn't even control him but Clark knows how he can be stopped, he could use a kryptonite stone to weaken Eric. Clark knows just were to get one of those rocks. Lana has one on her necklace so he asked her to borrow it. Clark confronted the superboy and when Eric tried to electrocute Clark with the power line, Clark uses the necklace and his power is leeched back to him. Eric was taken away to Metropolis and Clark's happiness ended from being a normal kid without super powers. Though he kind of miss being normal, he might really wanna keep those special abilities that he have.
