Whitney Fordman, Lana's boyfriend got turned down on his football scholarship. He was troubled by this and joined a group of guys who suffered the same thing as he did when they're in high school. These guys robbed the Luthor Mansion the night before. They are able to walk through walls and everything with the help of the kryptonites. Whitney was invited on their party that night. The leader of the guys tattoed Whitney and later revealed that the green ink could give him the power to walk through anything.

With this power on his hand, Whitney joined the gang and got hooked up. Later, they met with Lex Luthor for the ransom money of his stolen disks. Now that he found out that these guys that he is hanging with are a bunch of crook. Whitney has to get himself out of it. He and Clark worked together to go back at their hideout to find Lex's disks. But they were soon found by gangsters that he is betraying them. The leader tried to kill Whitney by dropping a junky car at them while he is holding Whitney. Ofcourse, he is wearing the green ink, he though he wouldn't get hurt but the ink ran out as the car was dropped by the lift. What happened to Whitney? Clark uses his lightning speed to grab Whitney and the leader was the one who got dropped by the car.

The police took the other guys to custody but Lex didn't let the cops took Whitney away. Also Lana was trying to convince Lex to become her partner on the store that her aunt sells to him. This place is very special to her that she wouldn't gave up that easy. first she was turned down by Lex on her offer but when she tries Clark's idea, it worked.
