On the evidence of the compilations that they showed a couple of years back, Armistice was closer to TW3 than 11OCS ever has been.

Honestly don't know. Apart from the usual few scraps repeated on clip shows, difficult to tell. Seems more like a poor Spitting Image or Weekending endlessly re-hashed.

Very probably. All topical shows have a hit 'n' miss element, depending on factors such as persoanl taste and political bias. Weekending, HIGNFY, & SI all vary in quality for that reason. But the 11oCS is weak because it is on too often. The advantage of one show a week gives time to edit, or refine scripts. Because of the short gap between most editions it is rushed and subsequently botched, due to an apparent lack of control.

If the scripts were good, you could get away without needing to ad-lib, instead of trying to fill gaps as the show dies on its arse.
As for a presenter....well...I'll let the others debate that as I can't honestly think of anyone suitable - but then again who could rescue a show this poor?

Damm. forgot to mention it. But you are right TJ. Just thinking about *Spot the old lady* and *Bus of Dianas* raises more smiles than anything seen on 11oCS.

If we're going for clever shows, I may as well be the first to mention Brass Eye. It was postponed but knocked the rise out of politicos, celebs, far more effectively than 11oCS, and if the subject is *News Alternative*, then I can only say it was done better in The Day Today.

If I were a rich man, I'd pay C4 & Talkback to take this crap off our screens. I'd like to see repeats of any good show from C4's own back catalogue.

The 11oCS is thirty minutes of tedium. I watched it last night (Wed 18th) and assure you all, that I honestly did fall asleep, only to wake up when the adverts came on.
