CHOCOBOS for VII

These are normal chocobos. Find these with Chocobo Lure Materia on any chocobo tracks. The best ones are near Mideel and Gold Saucer. The ones on the Northern Continent are quite good too.

These are the product of two Great or Superb, A or S rank Yellow Chocobos. They can climb any mountain, and are very useful if you can't be bothered killing Ultima Weapon to get to Frog Forest. You can also access several new caves, like that one near Mideel which is really annoying. Oh, and from now on you have to get the right nut from red dragons near the chocobo blokes house on the Northern Continent. You get it for killing it, not stealing it.

Also the product of two Great or Superb, A or S rank Yellow Chocobos. These can cross rivers and can go on the shallow bit of the sea. Now you can access the cave over the river near Costa Del Sol, on the strangely coloured bit.

The product of one male Blue, and one Female Green, A or S rank chocobos. These can do whatever the Blue and Green chocobos can do, so you can get to those caves now.

By far the best chocobo to have. The product of a black chocobo and any other chocobo, at A or S rank, but you have to use a special nut for this to work. It is one that you can buy. With this beast you can get Knights of the Round. It is on an island that is not on the map, but is north of the Eastern Continent, above the chocobo farm, but you will probably have to run around a bit before you can find it. It is essential for the game, and is in a small cave on the island.
