 December 27th, 2003: I announce it now, though I won't be updating it for quite a long time since I'm working on something else currently (fan fiction, yes, yes), so here are the first two chapters of a new story: Obsidian Darkness. May 8th, 2003: I announced it not long ago and now, I give you the first part! Part I: Trouble is the beginning of The Stormwalkers. May 3rd, 2003: New things again... First, a new story (in a new section), Herald of Sorrow in the section Voice of the Skalds (and, with it, an 'humourous' story about its conception...). Then, the announce of Fan of Steel, a new story happening in the middle of Court intrigues! And, though it's here for quite a moment now, I announce The Stormwalkers, which I'm currently working on (along with others...) March 3rd, 2003: A new poem, in the section Knights of Light this time! It's called Into the Fire and is in relation with the Shining Guard, which I'm currently working on. How's that, you thought I wasn't doing anything?? December 30th, 2002: The Chapter XIX and the epilogue of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) just arrived and so, Next Step is completed!! December 26th, 2002: The Chapter XVIII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is completed and Delilah is facing Baal once again! December 13th, 2002: The Chapter XVII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) just arrived and everything becomes quite hectic in Heaven! December 2nd, 2002: The Chapter XVI of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) just arrived and everything calms down for a while in Heaven! November 28th, 2002: The Chapter XV of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is completed. Delilah and Tyrael are now Baal's prisoners... November 21th, 2002: The Chapter XIV of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) just arrived and Delilah stands decided to keep the Demons away from Rshkiel! November 16th, 2002: The Chapter XIII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is here! Let's meet for real the elusive Rshkiel and see what's coming from that meeting :) November 9th, 2002: The Chapter XII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is here and introduced another Angel yet, quite well-known also, whose name happens to be Lucifer... October 30th, 2002: I updated Soul of a man in the section A Beast or two and added a sneak peak to My Heart to thy Sweet Voice in the section Under the sea and to The song of the Nightingale in the section Voice of the animals. October 28th, 2002: I took my time, I know, but here comes the Chapter XI of Next Step (Archangels & Demons). And I even wrote the two prologues of Broken Wings! Now, don't go read it, since it's the sequel to Next Step! October 6th, 2002: The whole site is under the process of being redone, though I'm not sure any of my work will be visible to anybody but me :) Anyway, it should help me in maintaining the whole thing, since it's getting bigger and bigger... So, while redoing the pages, I'm working on my tool to help me and it should, hopefully, be very nice at the end. Among the visible changes, I, Beast shorcut from A Beast or two has disappeared. It's now only available from the main page The Library. Still visible, the graphics for I, Beast and Ghosts of Darkness have changed and also those for The Realm of Pain, which is now available. The page Of Love, Faith and Hate disappeared, since it was only a link on Maidens of Death, Knights of Light and Ghosts of Darkness. Disappeared also is Qanatir, which I still have the intention to write, but lack the time to do so presently. And you won't believe it, but I redid my links page and now, it's really up to date! I almost can't believe it myself :) October 1rst, 2002: My first Snow White tale is just completed! A bit shorter than the usual, Winter Queen is the first apple in the basket of Spirits of the forest. Also I took away A Tale of Troy and The Palace of the double Axe. I don't have the time to take care of them right now and, anyway, the original is in French and translations are no more provided. The works displayed here are original works, written in English, not translated from French. September 27th, 2002: My first Sleeping Beauty tale is just completed! I thought I would only write short tales for the section When sleep comes... but this one, The fairies' scheme is quite long and there're still so many things left out that I'm even thinking of writing a longer tale about it... We'll see :) September 19th, 2002: Not long ago I added two new 'future' stories in the section White as a swan and I'm pleased to announce that one of them is finished! It is called The beggar maid (as a reminder of Tennyson's poem) but could have been called The black swan also... September 13th, 2002: I had the bad (<grin>) idea to read a bit of Andrew Lang's Grey Fairy Book and I fell on the story of Prunella. So in the section In a faery land... I added my own version, Son of a witch! September 9th, 2002: The section White as a swan counts a new one in its ranks! Indignation (What Happened in the Garden) is very short and not to be taken seriously! September 2nd, 2002: In the section In a faery land... a newcomer just arrived. It's called For Jania and it's rather dark for a fairy tale... July 17th, 2002: A little change in the big section In a faery land..., there's a new section in it, called Twelve Dancing Princesses and so The Twilight Realm got moved there, since it's where it belongs... I fixed the link below, so it shouldn't crash... :) And we reach the end of the first part of Next Step (Archangels & Demons)! Here are the Chapter IX and the Intermission! July 13th, 2002: At last, the last priest is dealt with in the Chapter VIII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons)! Fortunately for me, I didn't have to imagine the tests for all the sixty-six gods in my pantheon... And to know if Delilah would pass or fail; for there're only these two solutions and making her pass all the time might give an impression of easiness... As for making her fail, well, it wouldn't help her for the coming confrontation, would it? Anyway, we're coming near the end of the first part! July 10th, 2002: Back to my favourite story (for the moment), the Chapter VII of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) just comes in and the mystery around Delilah deepens a bit more! July 5th, 2002: A little break in Next Step, here is my version of The twelve dancing princesses, in the Twelve Dancing Princesses section, The Twilight Realm. Be warned, I'm fonder of blacksmiths than shepherds... June 29th, 2002: Delilah's quest continues and the threat is becoming more real! The Chapter VI of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is there, with the wisdom of Shuqra and Varaxador's art of war! June 27th, 2002: In Chapter V of Next Step (Archangels & Demons), I make Azrael come back and, of course, with him came his usual escort, that you may have already met if you read The avening angel: Dhampyr!. June 24th, 2002: Here is the Chapter IV of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) and I took advantage of this chapter for introducing my favourite Archangel ever, even before Tyrael, I named of course Azrael :) Isn't he the sweetest Angel? ;) June 18th, 2002: For once really dedicated to one story, I give you the Chapter III of Next Step (Archangels & Demons)! June 13th, 2002: The Chapter II of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is here! June 8th, 2002: The Chapter I of Next Step (Archangels & Demons) is up! June 7th, 2002: I keep switching sites, switching stories... So here comes a newcomer, called Next Step (Archangels & Demons) and the Prologue is already up! June 3rd, 2002: Back to my gothic side, here come the Chapter I and Chapter II from Nightwalker: Hunter. And, since I don't have the time to work on it right now, though I still intend to finish it, here is a sneak peak to The nature of the beast. May 23th, 2002: Back to poetry, it does no harm just this once ;) So, for changing, it's still in the section Ghosts of Darkness, but it has nothing to do with the poems of the Realm of Pain... <sigh of relief> It's called Fallen Angel and, as you already know, in this section, it can only be dark... And (a bit later in the day), the other poem in the same section is up too, it's Dark Angel. May 8th, 2002: It was announced, it finally came to life! Beauty and the Beast on ice (still in the section A Beast or two) is finished and, be warned, is sort of a parody :) At first, I wanted to mix it with magic, but I finally renounced... The very first Beauty and the Beast without any magic? Wow :) April 16th, 2002: A newcomer (again!) comes help The avenging angel: Dhampyr! to populate the section The gothic crypt. It's called Nightwalker: Hunter and the prologue is up! March 25th, 2002: And here it is! The crystal rose is completed and up in the section A Beast or two. March 21th, 2002: I give you some sneak peaks on the stories currently on board: A light in the moors, On Maja's tracks and Soul of a man. Even shadows run for cover is only three lines long, so I thought it was not very useful to give a preview of it and as for The crystal rose, I'm working hard on it, being on a roll, and I hope to give you the full story very soon! So, no preview :) March 5th, 2002: Here it comes, the first in its section, Angel of the night just opens the ball in White as a swan! February 26th, 2002: A little newcomer, which existence was already known, The eyes of the Snake is now in its section Voice of the animals and my, I did complicate the things a bit, I think... February 23th, 2002: Some changes in the section In a faery land...: first of all, all the stories I have planned are announced on their respective pages. And secondly, on each head page there was a image link to the stories, well, those links don't exist anymore, because I suddenly realised that if I continued so, I would be limited to seven stories per section... knowing that I have already five stories completed or planned for A Beast or two. I don't really like to feel limited :) January 22th, 2002: Really on a roll currently, here is a new story, one of those I promised you in the writing board... The power of the Cobra waits for you in the section Voice of the animals. As you will see, nothing to do too much with Harry Potter... And I'm already thinking of the sequel! January 19th, 2002: This time I can really say it's new! Everything is updated on Yahoo! Geocities, even the images, and I have checked them all - normally - to the point of having Yahoo! shutting down my site for too much traffic (oops...). I think the next step will be redoing the links page, because it's far too old, first, and second, it's still my old french page, so not very understandable, huh? Sorry, I'm late :( January 7th, 2002: Happy New Year everybody! And to begin this new year with good resolutions, here is one of the stories I was talking about in the writing board, The dragon's pearl in the section A Beast or two. November 8th, 2001: New look! Well, maybe I should say, new site, since I moved all the pages from Chez.com to Yahoo! Geocities. For those who knew the old site, english part, here are the changes in this new version: first of all, all the links referring to the french site have been removed, so if you want to see them, go to the old site (containing now only the French files): http://www.chez.com/azrael. Second point, all the stories in French that I had planned to translate will remain in French only. I don't have the courage to translate them. As I did the same for the French part, I, Beast (English version) is now the only existing version, so I will have to translate again the first chapters, because, definitely, Babelfish didn't do a good job on that <grin>. Third - and last - point, you have four links just above to have a general overview of what I'm doing (website related, of course): first, what I did till today, the old What's new!, containing everything that happened from February 22th, 2000 till today and the Writing Board (brand new!), so that you'll have a faint idea of what I'm planning to do.
