On the Board
[What's new!] [Old What's new!] [On the board] [Return to Home]

April 7th, 2004:
Iron Squire from The Shining Guard is back on my mind, except that I'm writing it by hand, so the updates won't be there for quite a long time: it's going to be one long story!

May 3rd, 2003:
The Shining Guard is on a hiatus for now, since my mind is back to respectively storms, Court intrigues and Norse mythology... Storms are the source of my inspiration for The Stormwalkers, a story in which a storm mage meets a girl who has astounding powers with storms. Court intrigues lead to Fan of Steel, where a young noblewoman has to fight in a way she despises to save her land and maybe her Prince (blame Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith for this story!). Norse mythology gives Voices of the Skalds and maybe, once my books are arrived, longer stories on Norse mythology. I think that's all for now!

February 3rd, 2003:
I am not taking a prolongated holiday - though I wish I could! - but I am working on something brand new (as usual...). Back on my interest for Knights - that I have now and then - I decided that I would give a try. So I'm currently working on Iron Squire, trying to transform Ireno into a proper Squire and future Knight.

October 30th, 2002:
Back to Next Step (Archangels & Demons), but I'm still thinking also to I hopped for her, And sleep was thy fate..., the long version of The fairies' scheme, My Heart at thy Sweet Voice and Soul of a man. Sounds a lot, huh? Well, believe me, it is (<grin>).

September 22th, 2002:
Now that I finished Son of a witch in the section In a faery land... and The beggar maid in White as swan, I decided to do something with the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, so here we go, I started The fairies' scheme, while still continuing My Heart at thy Sweet Voice.

September 12th, 2002:
Currently working on Son of a witch, based on Prunella, from Andrew Lang's Grey Fairy Book. Some things in it puzzled me (apart from the irritation of the child being named Prunella because she likes plums when seven years old!): Prunella remained at the witch's for maybe eight years and one, it seems almost surprising that the witch sends Prunella at the well or asks her to bake bread... Come on now, be serious! The witch certainly didn't treat Prunella like a princess during eight years! Secondly during the same lapse of time, Prunelle never managed to meet Bensiabel, who's more than probably living in the same dwelling! She never even guessed his presence! Wow, that impresses me :)

September 9th, 2002:
For Jania is completed, as you could see, but I'm now working on a story for the section Under the sea and still on The song of the Nightingale!

August 20th, 2002:
Too many ideas, so little time! Working currently on For Jania, a new version of The Twelve Dancing Princesses and a long story called I hopped for her. And I have ideas for the sequels in Voice of the animals. Argh again, honestly :) Because I still have to finish Next Step and quantity of others...

July 17th, 2002:
Maybe not too late, this time... I am at the chapter I so wanted to write for Delilah - I mean, Next Step (Archangels & Demons) - but it seems my mind is back to fairy tales and obviously bugging me for getting the stories of the eleven sisters of Oriabel from The Twilight Realm... So be warned if I'm getting late on updating Next Step! Though I'll try to finish the current chapter and the intermission before starting something else... Argh...

July 3rd, 2002:
Even later for the update... I was working - very hard - on Next Step (Archangels & Demons) (by hand first and then typing it, so that's why it's slow), but I got a new story stuck in my mind, so just right now I'm working on The Twilight Realm for the section In a faery land.... Fortunately, this story should be short, so I should be back soon on my Archangels, Demons and Guardians...

April 18th, 2002:
A bit late for the update, but later is still better than never... Currently working on The nature of the Beast, for the section A Beast or two and at the same time, on Nightwalker: Hunter in the section The gothic crypt.

March 9th, 2002:
I was wondering how long I would wait... Well, the answer is two days! Obviously being more motivated for another story than for Even shadows run for cover, I began The crystal rose, still in the section A Beast or two.

March 7th, 2002:
Since I finished The eyes of the Snake and Angel of the night recently, I thought I could begin something else again :). So here we go, Even shadows run for cover is now on the board! And, if you had a look around recently, you probably noticed that it was announced in the section A Beast or two. So, for once, I have been reasonable, I didn't begin something else totally unplanned! (whom am I trying to fool...? :))

January 28th, 2002:
Though I have really plenty ideas for The dragon's breath and The eyes of the Snake, I began a new tale, based (o surprise!) on Beauty and the Beast. Or is it Cupid and Psyche? In short, a twist between both, since I always considered the story of Cupid and Psyche to be the first Beauty and the Beast tale... So Soul of a man (I don't know if it will be the final title...) is on the board and may appear sooner or later... if I don't have any new idea on the way...
No date really for this one, but since I am updating the Writing Board... In the section Ghosts of Darkness are two poems, called Gate of Pain and Angel of Pain that will move into their own section, called The Realm of Pain. The result should be something like seven poems plus the poem of introduction... I'm currently waiting for the copyrights concerning the graphisms used on this page...

January 24th, 2002:
As I finished The power of the Cobra not that long ago (let me see... two days ago, actually) and since I was already promising the sequel, I thought it would be better to begin it... So The eyes of the Snake is on the board and not only in my mind! I decided to add some more people because only four, it's a bit reductive, for a story happening in a school :)

January 11th, 2002:
Still obsessed by Beauty and the Beast tale, almost as soon as I finished The dragon's pearl, I began the sequel, called The dragon's breath, which will go in the A Beast or two section, of course.

December 25th, 2001:
Another idea I got from reading the second book of Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, you know, that passage with Severus Snape and the snake and the Parselmouth (chapter eleven for those who care). I thought afterwards that the name Snape and the word snake sounded quite alike, so I started from there, changing Snape's name, before somebody shouts at copyright infringement, of course :) This one, still without title, is destined to the section Voices of the animals.

November 8th, 2001:
Three new tales are on the writing board currently: one for the section A Beast or two, another one called A light on the moors, for The call of the will-o'-the-wisp and a third one for White as a swan.
