In a faery land... is a page dedicated to tales coming from here and there, but nonetheless normally quite well-known.

Opening ceremony: a parody of a bunch of fairy tales, where the prince is charming and well-intentioned, but makes everything go wrong... (Coming soon)
The path of truth: a version of How to tell a true princess, explaining a bit why the prince wants so much to find a true princess. (Completed on January 19th, 2001)
On Maja's tracks: a version of Thumbelina, but caring more for the poor mother than Thumbelina herself... (Updated on March 21th, 2002)
For Jania: a version of The Twelve Dancing Princesses, inspired at first by the retelling of Robin McKinley. Nothing to do with my previous version, The Twilight Realm. It's rather dark in fact, while my previous version was more lighthearted. (Completed on September 2nd, 2002)
Son of a witch: "Will you give me a kiss?", insistant question from Bensiabel to Prunella, as insistant as the "Will you marry me?" from the Beast to Beauty... Inspired by the story Prunella from Andrew Lang's Grey Fairy Book (I thought Bensiabel was a bit too shallow in the original story!) (Completed on September 13th, 2002)
Seeds to bind you: actually I don't really know in which section to put this one... It's something between Sleeping Beauty, Beauty and the Beast and the myth of Persephone and Hades... (Coming soon)
The magic key: something that somehow puzzled me in the tale of Blue Beard is one, where does the magic key come from and two, when one marries a man considered quite dangerous, why does one open the forbidden door? Anyway in this tale, the key doesn't keep blood on it but has other powers. (Coming soon)
