King-Size Homer
Original airdate: (11-5-95)

Homer decides that he wants to work at home and discovers how to attain his goal: he gorges himself until he reaches a target weight of 300 pounds and is officially declared disabled. The power plant installs a computerized workstation for Homer in his home.

Looking for shortcuts in his job performance, Homer uses a novelty bobbing-head bird as a substitute for his fingers at the keyboard and he goes to the movies. Refused admittance because of his size, he returns home only to find that the bird has failed and the reactor is about to explode.

Homer hijacks an ice cream truck and races to the plant. He climbs a ladder to get to the manual shut-down lever, but the catwalk buckles under his enormous weight. When the tank's sealing cap ruptures, Homer falls and his body seals the leak. To reward Homer for saving the plant, Mr. Burns agrees to pay for liposuction so that Homer can return to his normal size.
