Attack of the 50-Foot Eyesores A strange ionic disturbance brings to life gargantuan statues of popular advertising mascots. The icons, including Lard Lad, Professor Peanut and the Duff Cowboy, begin to destroy Springfield. Lisa discovers a copyright notice in the footprint left behind by one of the mascots and tracks down the ad agency that created many of the characters. The head of the agency theorizes that if the townspeople stop paying attention to the monsters, they will lose their powers and die. Assisted by singer Paul Anka, Lisa spreads the word not to look at the mascots. The monsters soon fall over and die. Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace Bart suffers a nightmare in which he is terrorized by Groundskeeper Willie. Shortly thereafter, Martin falls asleep during class and dies. Marge reveals how Willie was burned alive in an accident at the PTA meeting. Although he screamed for help, the parents pay for his death with the blood of their sleeping children. Bart and Lisa fear that if they fall asleep, Willie will get them. After desperately trying to stay awake, Bart deliberately dozes off to slay Willie in his dreams. Lisa too, falls asleep. Willie, as a bagpipe-spider, creature, captures both of them and is about to kill them. Just then Maggie appears and uses her pacifier to seal the bagpipe's vent. Willie explodes. Bart and Lisa wake up, hoping they are free of Willie forever. Homer3 Desperately trying to avoid Patty and Selma during a visit, Homer accidentally steps into a third dimension, becoming three dimensional. He calls for help. Just as he is about to be freed, the dimension collapses, catapulting Homer into our world--the most firghtening dimension of all.
