Hello! We are home safe and sound! It took 26 and a half hours and 4 planes to get back home! It was a LONG journey! Our precious girl did not feel that sleep was necessary! She slept a total of maybe 3 hours on the whole trip!
I am ready to go home!
Let’s not forget, either, that she only wanted to sit on my lap or have me hold her! The bathroom became a whole new adventure with an 18-month-old attached! LOL! Anyway, we are just glad to be home.
Thanks to the friends and family... I should say thanks to our family for meeting us at the airport because that’s what we are, family! I thought we would not see anyone until after picking up our baggage, but we rounded the corner and we heard screaming. Mike said, "Is that all for us?" and I looked and YES, it was! I started waving the baby in the air and the screaming grew louder! They had signs and made the moment so special. It could not have been any better. Sadena was surrounded by those who have loved her before they even knew her. What a blessing. We went home and found balloons that she loved!

Since being home the princess is adjusting her sleeping schedule, has been to the pediatrician and had 3 immunizations and saw her surgeon already! What a busy few days!
