Hi! or should I say Ni Hao from Beijing! We made it! But what a journey it was! We got up on Wednesday morning at 6:00am and headed to the airport around 7:00am. Our first flight took off at 9:59am and our last flight landed 24 hours later at 9:36pm - Beijing time.
The flights were uneventful so all of the prayers definitely worked! I read a whole book, watched 2 movies and slept maybe 2 hours. Mike slept maybe 3 hours, watched movies and listened to his iPod. We flew in the bulkhead row the whole way which was great for legroom, but the armrest did not go up so it hurt Mike's legs, especially on the long flight.
We also have the bulkhead booked for the return trip and I just cannot imagine that long journey with a baby on our laps, we will be needing lots of prayers that day!...
