Today was a free day. No official appointments. We had time to explore the island around the hotel and do a little shopping. Alyse is becoming quite the shopper under the expert instruction of her mother! She is a little better at haggling than we are since she does speak Chinese, or at least it sounds like it to us!

We did get a chance to take a couple of quick snapshots. One of Heather and Alyse enjoying one of the many beautiful gardens....

Later in the evening, we were invited to a birthday party for Clara (the Pierce's newly adopted daughter). All the girls were excited and came dressed up to their first birthday party!
