Sunday was a travel day. We flew from Beijing to Guangzhou aboard a China Southern 747 jumbo jet. The Pierce family was on the same flight with us. We were met at the airport by Angela. She is our guide and interpreter from the "All God's Children" adoption agency. She helped us get to our hotel, "The White Swan".

Let us tell you....it sure is tough suffering through at a five-star hotel! The service is great and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Here are a few pictures of the hotel and the view across the Pearl River. The waterfall is actually inside the hotel and is about three-stories high.

It will be hard sleeping tonight knowing that tomorrow is the big day when we finally get to meet Alyse face-to-face. The anticipation is almost unbearable.
