Friday was the final legal appointment at the United States Consulate. After some information sharing from one of the Consulate staff members, we had to raise our right hands and affirm that all the information submitted in our adoption paperwork was true to the best of our knowledge. At that point, the adoption process was complete and we received a passport and visa to take Alyse back to the United States.
 What a feeling of relief it is to have all the paperchase come to an end. We are now ready to go home and start the process of raising our daughter.
 We know that we can't hope to do everything right, but we also know that with God's help we will do enough right. He has promised wisdom and direction for all who ask, and we ask frequently. Please remember to mention our need for God's wisdom in your prayers whenever you think of us.
