This game was almost beyond description – it was an offensive onslaught beyond belief, Madden video football, fast break on grass, thrill a minute, you name it but in the end Lawrence County defeated Western Hills 78-74 in a come-from-behind victory.  This game featured a combined 55 first down, 1150 yards of total offense, and 152 points.  The contest also highlighted great performances by Lawrence County QB Noah West and Western Hills’ all-everything Wandale Robinson.  Despite all the offensive heroics the game came down to a game clinching interception by West to snuff out Western Hills hopes.  Noah West ended up scoring 60 points in this game, seven touchdowns and nine two-point conversions.  Robinson scored four touchdowns and five two-point conversions for 34 points.  Lawrence County recorded 30 first downs and 581 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 10 times for 85 yards.  Western Hills recorded 25 first downs and 569 yards of total offense.  The Wolverines were penalized eight times for 55 yards and had two passes intercepted.

Noah West led Lawrence County’s ground game with 393 yards and seven touchdowns on 45 carries.  Ashton Blankenship carried the ball 19 times for 113 yards and one touchdown.  Baden Gillispie carried the ball eight times for 64 yards and one touchdown and scored on a 65 yard kickoff return.  Lawrence County was zero for two in the passing department.

Wandale Robinson led Western Hills’ ground game with 133 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries.  Logan Bell carried the ball seven times for 88 yards and one touchdown.  Nate Johnson added 45 yards and one touchdown on nine carries.  Nate Johnson completed 16 of 25 passes for 311 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.  Wandale Robinson caught nine passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns.  Jason Rogers added three receptions for 49 yards and three touchdowns.  Carlos Gonzalez caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown.
