Bryan Station coach Donna Murphy started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Serena Sandusky, 5-8 Sr. DeShante Clay, 5-10 Jr. Victoria McCoy, 5-6 Sr. La’bianca Frazier, and 5-6 So. Zaria Ellery.  Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-11 So. Dee Givens, 5-9 8th grade Kiara Pankins, 6-4 So. Ashanti Thomas, 5-6 Jr. Megumi Nagahiro, and 5-6 Jr. Ken’yale Demus.

Lafayette led 56-40 early in the final quarter and 60-48 with four minutes remaining in the game but Bryan Station rallied for a 67-64 victory.  Bryan Station shot 38.6% from the field including five of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Defenders connected on 18 of 23 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 25 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 48.9% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Generals connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 15 Bryan Station turnovers.

Serena Sandusky led Bryan Station with 22 points, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals.  5-9 Jr. Lakeysha Stennis added 16 points and DeShante Clay chipped in with 11 points.

Ashanti Thomas led Lafayette with 20 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Dee Givens added 13 points and Ken’yale Demus chipped in with 11 points.  5-6 Jr. Shirlisa Demus also reached double figures with 10 points.  Kiara Pankins recorded eight points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Mercy Academy trailed 33-26 at halftime but outscored Paul Dunbar 20-11 in the third quarter on their way to a 55-52  road victory.  Mercy Academy shot 30.9% from the field including four of 21 from the three point line.  The Jaguars connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored four points off 18 Paul Dunbar turnovers.  Paul Dunbar shot 43.1% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Mercy turnovers.

Whitney Hartlage led Mercy Academy with 24 points including four three point baskets.  Malerie Martin added 10 points.  Kayla Richardson chipped in with eight points and Victoria Dircksen recorded seven points and six rebounds.  Morgan Doherty pulled down eight rebounds.

Lexus Edwards led Paul Dunbar with 21 points and eight rebounds.  Shakeema Jackson added 10 points.  LaKeena Parks chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Bailey Browning, and 5-4 Sr. Sara Cawood.  Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-8 Sr. Laura Szorenyi, 5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm, 6-0 Jr. Tereka Guyn, 5-6 Jr. Rachel Young, and 5-7 Jr. Danielle DeFoor.

Scott County defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 75-70.  Scott County shot 41.9% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 16 of 30 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 22 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 47.2% from the field including six of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Scott County turnovers.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 24 points, 11 rebounds, four blocked shots, and four steals.  Danielle DeFoor added 12 points including three three point baskets.  5-7 8th grade Lauren Boehm chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Bailey Hawkins recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

5-5 Jr. Suzanne Miller led Lexington Catholic with 22 points.  Rachel Blake added 13 points.  Caroline Lynch chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds.  Sara Cawood recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Bailey Browning dished out nine assists.

Dominique Etling-Turner hit a short jump shot in the closing seconds to give Tates Creek a 57-55 victory over Woodford County.  Tates Creek shot 36.1% from the field including five of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 31.7% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 22 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds.  Dominique Etling-Turner and Oney Harrison added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Lexi Whaley pulled down seven rebounds and dished out five assists.  5-11 So. Kendra Evans chipped in with six points and 10 rebounds.

Chelsey Ford led Woodford County with 20 points and nine rebounds.  Shelby McDonald added 13 points.  6-1 Sr. Jessica Morgan recorded eight points and 11 rebounds.  Hannah Morgan pulled down eight rebounds.

Sydney Rice led McLean County with 35 points including 17 of 18 free throws and pulled down five rebounds.  Katie Dickerson added 21 points including four three point baskets.

Boyle County defeated Tates Creek by a score of 72-68.  Boyle County led by a score of 39-26 at halftime but Tates Creek made it close in the second half.  There were six lead changes and six ties in this game.  Boyle County shot 31.7% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Rebels connected on 29 of 46 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 16 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 30.6% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 21 of 28 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 17 Boyle County turnovers.  There were a total of 49 fouls called in this game and 74 free throws attempted.

Hannah Harris led Boyle County with 23 points and eight rebounds.  Chelsea Gill added 17 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Marlee Smith chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds.

Rockcastle County shot a sizzling 61.3% from the field in the first half to take a 44-32 halftime lead on their way to n 80-55 victory over Tates Creek.  Rockcastle County shot 52.3% from the field including one of four from the three point line.  The Lady Rockets connected on 11 of 17 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 30 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 38.6% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on seven of eight free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored five points off 12 Rockcastle County turnovers.

Michaela Hunter led Rockcastle County with 19 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.  Emily Miller and 5-9 So. Amelia Eversole added 18 and 11 points respectively.
