Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup; 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.  Sayre coach Ted Hall countered with 6-1 Jr. Martin Durmov, 6-0 Jr. Justin Sanders, 6-3 Jr. Henry Wolf, 5-9 Sr. Ben Davis, and 5-11 Sr. Duncan Courtney.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre by a score of 69-34.  Henry Clay shot 57.4% from the field including five of 16 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 21 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 27.8% from the field including three of eight from beyond the arc.  The Spartans connected on 11 of 24 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored seven points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 13 points.  Gerrard Newby added 12 points.  6-5 Sr. Darien Tichenor recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.

Justin Sanders led Sayre with 15 points.  6-3 So. Quinn Pergande added eight points.

Scott County defeated Woodford County by a score of 59-47.  Scott County shot 43.9% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on 19 of 26 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 38 points off 34 Woodford County turnovers.  Woodford County shot 33.3% from the field including two of eight from beyond the arc.  The Yellow Jackets connected on 21 of 33 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 28 Scott County turnovers.

6-2 Jr. Trent Gilbert led Scott County with 22 points including three three point baskets.  Dylan Portwood and 6-7 Sr. Andrew Short added eight and seven points respectively.

Eli Boggess led Woodford County with 17 points.  Landen Young added eight points.

Bryan Station coach Mike Allen started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Larry Morton, 6-2 Jr. Daquice Allen, 6-3 Sr. Tyler Smith, 6-0 Jr. Jordan Henry, and 6-1 Jr. Marcellous Washington.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-8 Sr. Nick Trisko, 6-4 Sr. Aaron Evans, 6-9 Jr. Jackson Davis, 6-2 Jr. Lance Blakely, and 6-3 Sr. Tranard Chester.

Bryan Station trailed 47-42 after three quarters but rallied for a 65-62 victory over Lafayette.  Turnovers were Lafayette’s downfall tonight as Bryan Station scored 32 points off 26 Lafayette turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 33.8% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line.  The Defenders connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and attempted 23 more shots (68-45) from the field than Lafayette.  Lafayette shot 53.3% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored six points off 10 Bryan Station turnovers.

Larry Morton led Bryan Station with 23 points including four three points baskets and seven rebounds.  Jordan Henry added 13 points and 11 rebounds.  6-2 Sr. Kenyon Hipps chipped in with 10 points.  Tyler Smith recorded seven points and seven rebounds.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 17 points.  6-6 Sr. Charles Sweat-Washington added 13 points.  Nick Trisko chipped in with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic shot “lights out” from the three point line connecting on 11 of 15 shots in a 74-44 rout of Lexington Christian Academy.  Lexington Catholic shot 60.5% from the field including 11 of 15 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 17 of 22 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 14 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 35.3% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Eagles connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Dillon Avare led Lexington Catholic with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Tanner Johnson also scored 12 points.  Jarod Griffin and Reese Ryan each recorded 11 points.  Tom Banahan scored eight points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

6-1 So. Brad Calipari led LCA with 12 points on four three point baskets.  Calipari was four of four from the field in only 7:15 minutes of playing time.  6-4 So. Drew Trimble added seven points.

Tates Creek took a 19-9 first quarter lead and increased their advantage to 34-12 at halftime on their way to a 52-41 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Tates Creek shot 38.3% from the field including two of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 17 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 27.8% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Tates Creek turnovers.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 20 points and seven rebounds.  Oney Harrison added 17 points.  Harrison was seven of 11 from the field including two of four from beyond the arc and one of two from the free throw line.

Katelyn Bundy led LCA with 22 points.  Savannah Compton added seven points and 16 rebounds.

Marion County dominated tonight in a 75-27 victory over Lexington Catholic.  Marion County shot 59.6% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on one of three free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 23 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 31% from the field including eight of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Knights connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored two points off five Marion County turnovers.

Makayla Epps led Marion County with 27 points.  Epps was 13 of 17 from the field including one of three from the three point line and zero of one from the free throw line.  Logan Powell added 13 points and six rebounds.  Alexus Calhoun also reached double figures with 10 points.  Kyvin Goodin-Rogers recorded eight points, six assists, three blocked shots, and five steals.

5-8 So. Rachel Blake led Lexington Catholic with 13 points.

Note: Scott County was without two starters in Audriana Christopher (ACL) and Danielle DeFoor.

Madison Central defeated Scott County by a score of 70-53.  Madison Central shot 45.6% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 14 of 22 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Scott County turnovers.  Scott County shot 29.3% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on six of 14 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored eight points off eight Madison Central turnovers.  Scott County attempted 18 more shots (75-57) from the field than Madison Central.

Larryn Brooks led Madison Central with 22 points, seven assists, and six steals.  Brooks was seven of 12 from the field including zero of two from the three point line, and eight of eight from the free throw line.  Ashton Feldhaus added 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Bailey O’Bryan chipped in with 15 points.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 24 points and 16 rebounds.  Iman Guy added 12 points and nine rebounds.  Rachel Young pulled down seven rebounds and dished out seven assists.

Sacred Heart raced out to a 20-4 first quarter lead on their way to a 63-41 victory over Newport Central Catholic.  Sacred Heart shot 60.5% from the field including three of seven from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 22 Newport Central Catholic turnovers.  Newport Central Catholic shot 30.4% from the field including one of seven from beyond the arc.  The Thoroughbreds connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 30 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Dai Jia Ruffin led Sacred Heart with 24 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and five steals.  Ruffin was nine of 11 from the field and six of seven from the free throw line.  Kristin Matula added 11 points.  Gretchen Samsel chipped in with nine points.  Caroline Long recorded six points and seven rebounds.

Alexus Mayes, Stephanie Lewis, and 5-6 So. MiKayla Siebert each recorded eight points for Newport Central Catholic.  5-6 Jr. Imani Lankheit pulled down seven rebounds.
