Madison Southern coach Austin Newton started the following lineup: 6-3 Sr. Trent DeVries, 6-1 So. Jay Rose, 6-2 Jr. Blake Simpson, 5-8 Jr. Walter Smith, and 5-9 Sr. Jayden Adams.  Garrard County coach Brandon Cooper countered with 6-3 So. Ethan Cooper, 6-0 Sr. Ethan Wall, 6-3 Sr. Brandon Brooks, 5-8 Fr. Montavin Quisenberry, and 6-3 Sr. Hudson Cornett.

Madison Southern led 40-36 at halftime but outscored the Golden Lions 25-9 in the third quarter to pull away for an 80-59 victory over Garrard County.  The score was tied three times and there were 12 lead changes in the game.  Madison Southern shot 42.6% from the field including seven of 29 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 27 of 31 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 turnovers over 17 Garrard County turnovers.  Garrard County shot 39.3% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc.  The Golden Lions connected on 11 of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 16 points on 17 Madison Southern turnovers.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 23 points including two three point baskets, nine of nine free throws, eight rebounds, and two assists.  5-8 So. Zach Hudson added 20 points including four three point baskets, four of four free throws, six rebounds, and two assists.  Trent DeVries recorded 18 points including seven of eight free throws.  6-4 So. Brent Erslan chipped in with eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Ethan Cooper led Garrard County with 22 points including three three point baskets, 11 rebounds, and two assists.  Montavin Quisenberry added 16 points including six of nine free throws, two assists, and two steals.  Ethan Wall recorded nine points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Eastern Kentucky exploded tonight for 20 three point baskets in a 113-73 victory over UT Martin.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 60% from the field including 20 of 37 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 22 UT Martin turnovers.  UT Martin shot 42.4% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Skyhawks connected on 21 of 26 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 12 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.

Wendell Green Jr. led Eastern Kentucky University with 25 points including four three point baskets, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  Michael Moreno added 23 points including five three point baskets.  Moreno was nine of 10 from the field including five of six from beyond the arc.  6-6 Fr. Devontae Blanton recorded 19 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Blanton was six of seven from the field including three of four from beyond the arc, and four of four free throws.  Curt Lewis added 19 points including three three point baskets and four rebounds.  Lewis was seven of nine from the field including three of four from beyond the arc, and two of three from the free throw line.  Cooper Robb chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Franklin County survived a good Berea team to earn a 63-58 overtime victory.  Franklin County shot 40% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 19 of 30 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers.  Berea committed seven turnovers.  Berea shot 47.5% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and committed 20 turnovers.

5-6 Sr. Brooklynn Miles led Franklin County with 23 points including 10 of 15 free throws, two assists, and three steals.  5-10 Jr. Patience Laster added 15 points including six of eight free throws, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  5-5 Jr. Shauvi Kennedy recorded nine points, two rebounds, and three steals.  5-4 Jr. Nevaeh Carter chipped in with eight points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Madison Central trailed 30-26 at halftime but a dismal 0-10 from the field in the third quarter resulted in Lexington Catholic outscoring the Indians 16-3 in the quarter on their way to a 56-39 victory.  There were two lead changes and six ties in the game.  Lexington Catholic shot 32.1% from the field including fourof nine from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 21 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 28.3% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Indians connected on 10 of 19 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 19 Lexington Catholic turnovers.
