Bell County coach David Teague started the following lineup: 5-9 So. Abby Harris, 5-7 Sr. Karlee Cox, 6-2 Sr. Brittney Cupp, 5-0 So. Brittany Davis, and 5-6 Sr. Lindsay Bryant.  Wayne County coach Mark McKinley started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Haleigh Criswell, 5-8 Fr. Alyssa Conn, 5-10 8th Grade Mallory Campbell, 5-5 Fr. Jade Turner, and 5-8 Fr. Macey Blevins.

 

Wayne County defeated Bell County by a score of 52-37.  Wayne County shot 50% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 Bell County turnovers.  Bell County shot 24% from the field including four of 29 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cats connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Wayne County turnovers.

 

Macey Blevins led Wayne County with 31 points including 10 of 14 free throws and seven rebounds.  Haleigh Criswell added eight points including two three point baskets.  Mallory Campbell recorded seven points and eight rebounds.

 

Abby Harris led Bell County with 14 points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Brittney Cupp added eight points and nine rebounds.

Macey Blevins led Wayne County with 31 points including 17 of 19 free throws and eight rebounds.  Mallory Campbell added 11 points and seven rebounds.  Haleigh Criswell recorded eight points and 10 rebounds.  Mariah Bowlin chipped in with six points.

Barbourville captured a close 53-50 decision over Wayne County.  Barbourville shot 37% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Tigers connected on 11 of 24 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 41% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Barbourville turnovers.

 

Anna Daniels led Barbourville with 23 points and 13 rebounds.  Shelbie Jones added 10 points and seven rebounds.  Abbagail Smith recorded 10 points and five rebounds.

 

Macey Blevins led Wayne County with 20 points and seven rebounds.  Mallory Campbell added 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Mariah Bowlin recorded nine points on three three point baskets.

Williamsburg raced out to a 42-19 halftime lead on their way to a 62-43 victory over Wayne County.  Williamsburg shot 49% from the field including two of eight from the three point line.  The Lady Jackets connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 17 Wayne County turnovers.  Wayne County shot 32% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Cardinals connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Williamsburg turnovers.

 

Kayla Gibson led Williamsburg with 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  Lillie Hall added 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Kelsey Tye recorded 11 points and eight rebounds.

 

Macey Blevins led Wayne County with 30 points including two three point baskets, 10 of 10 free throws, and four steals.  Mallory Campbell pulled down six rebounds.

Lafayette outscored East Carter 34-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 55-24 victory.  Lafayette shot 39% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 18 East Carter turnovers.  East Carter shot 29% from the field including six of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Raiders did not attempt a free throw, pulled down 17 free throws, and scored eight points off nine Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 22 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 14 points and six rebounds.

 

Halle Swanagan led East Carter with nine points on three three point baskets.  Alyssa Stickler added six points on two three point baskets.

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 25 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds.  Lindi DeBilzan added 17 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and five assists.  Tekiya Garr-Carter recorded 11 points and four rebounds.  Macey Goff pulled down eight rebounds and Terri Abram recorded four points, seven rebounds, nine assists, and three steals.

Lafayette recorded 19 steals, nine blocked shots, and scored 26 points off 29 Berea turnovers in a 53-21 victory over Berea.  Lafayette shot 42% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Generals connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and also outscored Berea 28-2 in the paint.  Berea shot 18.8% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Pirates connected on six of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored one point off 18 Lafayette turnovers.

 

Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 15 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  Lindi DeBilzan added 13 points, six rebounds, four assists, five blocks, and seven steals.  Tekiya Garr-Carter recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.

 

Alexis Newman led Berea with nine points including two three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Adrienne Beggs added five points, nine rebounds, one block, and three steals.

David Johnson led Trinity with 28 points including seven three point baskets, 13 rebounds, and five assists.  Justin Powell added 18 points including two three point baskets.  Jay Scrubb recorded 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Montverde Academy (FL) shot 60% from the field in a 70-42 victory over Long Island Lutheran (NY) to earn the Beach Ball Championship.  Montverde Academy shot 51.8%% from the field including five of 13 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored six points off six Long Island Lutheran turnovers.  Long Island Lutheran shot 29.1% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Crusaders connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored five points off five Montverde Academy turnovers.

 

RJ Barrett led Montverde Academy with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.  Makhi Mitchell added 14 points and 11 rebounds.  Filip Petrusev chipped in with 13 points.  Michael Devoe also reached double digits with 10 points.

 

Donatas Kupsas led Long Island Lutheran with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Tyson Etienne added 12 points.

Will McClendon, 6-9 So. Isaiah Cottrell, 5-9 Jr. DJ Howe, and 6-2 Jr. Chance Michels.

 

Bishop Gorman (NV) led 32-28 at halftime but Scott County rallied in the second half to earn a 71-62 victory over the Gaels.  The score was tied four times and there were six lead changes in the game.  Scott County shot 55.3% from the field including a sizzling 68.2% in the second half including five of 12 from the three point line for the game.  The Cardinals connected on 14 of 16 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Bishop Gorman turnovers.  Bishop Gorman shot 46.8% from the field including 11 of 27 from beyond the arc.  The Gaels connected on seven of nine free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Scott County turnovers.

 

Cooper Robb led a balanced Scott County scoring attack with 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals.  Bryce Long added 17 points including three three point baskets.  Michael Moreno recorded 16 points and five rebounds.  Diablo Stewart chipped in with 10 points including six of six free throws and four assists.  Glenn Covington added nine points and seven rebounds.

 

Jamal Bey led Bishop Gorman (NV) with 25 points including four three point baskets and six rebounds.  Will McClendon added 15 points including four three point baskets.  Chance Michels chipped in with nine points including two three point baskets.
