Wayne County coach Mark McKinley started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Haleigh Criswell, 5-5 8th Grade. Mariah Bowlin, 5-10 8th Grade Mallory Campbell, 5-5 Fr. Jade Turner, and 5-8 Fr. Macey Blevins. Clinton County coach Darrell Thompson countered with 5-10 Jr. Rylee Stockton, 5-10 Jr. Alexis Roberts, 5-10 Fr. Braylee Mann, 5-3 Sr. Ashton Thrasher, and 5-7 Fr. Abbi Young.
Wayne County defeated Clinton County by a score of 59-35. Wayne County shot 34% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 27 of 34 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored four points off 11 Clinton County turnovers. Clinton County shot 25% from the field including two of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bulldogs connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Wayne County turnovers.
Macey Blevins led Wayne County with 31 points including 17 of 19 free throws and eight rebounds. Mallory Campbell added 11 points and seven rebounds. Haleigh Criswell recorded eight points and 10 rebounds. Mariah Bowlin chipped in with six points.
Braylee Mann led Clinton County with 13 points and eight rebounds. 5-9 Jr. Josie Hicks added seven points.
