DuPont Manual coach Jeff Sparks started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Tonysha Curry, 5-6 Sr. Amara Ballard, 6-4 Sr. Krystalline McCune, 5-1 So. Tyonne Howard, and 5-5 So. Jaela Johnson.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 So. Grace Berger, 5-7 So. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Sr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Fr. Ashlee Harris, and 5-5 So. Kiki Samsel.

Manual outscored Sacred Heart 26-10 in the third quarter on their way to a 69-52 victory.  Manual controlled the boards tonight and held a 20-10 advantage in second chance points.  Manual shot 42.6% from the field including zero of 12 from the three point line.  The Lady Crimsons connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Sacred Heart turnovers.  Sacred Heart shot 32.7% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on 12 of 24 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored seven points off 10 Manual turnovers.

Krystalline McCune led Manual with 19 points and 18 rebounds.  Tonysha Curry added 14 points and 13 rebounds.  Jaela Johnson also reached double figures with 10 points.

Kiki Samsel led Sacred Heart with 13 points including three three point baskets.  Kia Sivils added 12 points and 10 rebounds.  Grace Berger recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Ashlee Harris chipped in with nine points.
