Anderson County vs. Great Crossing (Girls)

Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell started the following lineup: 6-0 Sr. Paige Serafini, 5-11 Fr. Lainey Johnson, 6-1 Sr. Jacie Chesser, 5-7 So. Jenna Satterly, and 5-11 Sr. Amiya Jenkins.  Great Crossing coach Glenn Wilson Jr. countered with 5-10 So. Ava Schureman, 5-8 So. Olivia Tierney, 6-0 Jr. Raegan Barrett, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Smith, and 5-8 Sr. Timothi Williams.

 

Anderson County defeated Great Crossing by the score of 76-37.  Anderson County shot 43.3% from the field including 10 of 28 from the three point line.  The Lady Bearcats connected on 14 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 23 Great Crossing turnovers.  Great Crossing shot 29.3% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Warhawks connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Anderson County turnovers.

 

Amiya Jenkins led Anderson County with 24 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Paige Serafini added 13 points including three three point baskets and five rebounds.  Jenna Satterly recorded 13 points including four of five free throws.  Jacie Chesser chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds.  Lainey Johnson added six points on two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals.

 

Timothi Williams led Great Crossing with 11 points including six of six free throws, three rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.  Rachel Smith added nine points on three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.  Ava Schureman recorded four points, six rebounds, three blocked shots, and two steals.
