Scott County coach Tim Glenn started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Haynes, 6-1 Sr. Jeremy Hamilton, 6-4 Jr. Nick Mosby, 5-8 Jr. JZ Middleton, and 5-10 Sr. Andrew Willhite. Sayre coach Robert Goodman countered with 6-3 Sr. Cole Pennington, 6-1 Jr. Graham Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Davis Miller, 6-0 Sr. Dant Bowling, and 6-1 Jr. Grady Johnson.
Scott County defeated Sayre by the score of 64-56. Scott County shot 55.6% from the field including three of 17 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 11 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 53.5% from the field including two of 13 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 11 Scott County turnovers.
Isaiah Haynes led Scott County with 14 points and two rebounds. Jeremy Hamilton added 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and four steals. Nick Mosby recorded 13 points including four of four free throws, seven rebounds, and four steals. JZ Middleton chipped in with 11 points and two steals. 6-4 So. Lamarion McGrapth added eight points and four rebounds.
Davis Miller led Sayre with 19 points. Dant Bowling added 15 points including two three point baskets, and three rebounds. Graham Johnson recorded 13 points, two rebounds, and three steals.
