Lexington Catholic Lee Tegt started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Katherine Truitt, 5-9 So. Abby Hammond, 5-9 So. Lydia Kennedy, 5-7 Jr. Lucy Nash, and 5-8 Jr. Amelia Monohan.  Tates Creek coach Matt Yates countered with 5-8 Sr. Joyce Mukalamusi, 5-6 So. Ashton Harris, 5-9 Sr. Elyse Baker, 5-5 Sr. Maddie Kauffman, and 5-2 Sr. Alisce Lyvers.

 

Tates Creek defeated Lexington Catholic by the score of 55-48.  Tates Creek shot 43.5% from the field including six of 17 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on nine of 14 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 26.9% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on 16 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Tates Creek turnovers.

 

Maddie Kauffman led Tates Creek with 14 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, seven rebounds, and two assists.  5-5 Sr. Jada Bell added 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.  5-6 So. Ashton Harris recorded 12 points and four rebounds.  Elyse Baker chipped in with eight points, six rebounds, two assists, and two blocked shots.  Joyce Mukalamusi recorded seven points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

 

Lucy Nash led Lexington Catholic with 16 points including two three point baskets and seven rebounds.  Katherine Truitt added 12 points including eight of 10 free throws, 12 rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Lydia Kennedy chipped in with six points
