Boyd County coach Pete Fraley started the following lineup: 6-0 So. Audrey Biggs, 5-9 So. Taylor Bartrum, 6-0 So. Jasmine Jordan, 5-6 Fr. Emilee Neese, and 5-7 Jr. Jenna Stewart. George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham countered with 5-11 Jr. Brianna Byars, 5-10 Sr. Tyra Flowers, 6-1 Fr. Ciara Byars, 5-0 7th Grade Kennedy Stamper, and 5-7 Jr. Trinity Gay.
George Rogers Clark defeated Boyd County by the score of 69-34. George Rogers Clark shot 46.4% from the field including three of seven from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 36 Boyd County turnovers. Boyd County shot 28.2% from the field including three of nine from beyond the arc. The Lady Lions connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored six points off 16 GRC turnovers.
Brianna Byars led GRC with 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, four blocked shots, and six steals. Ciara Byars added 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals. Tyra Flowers recorded eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. 5-6 So. Makili Tabor chipped in with eight points, four rebounds, and three steals.
Taylor Bartrum led Boyd County with nine points, four rebounds, and three assists. Audrey Biggs added eight points. Jasmine Jordan recorded two points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.
