Midway coach Joe Krupinski started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Kwon Evans, 6-4 So. Izaya Sims, 6-6  Sr. Jose Bustamante, 6-2 Sr. Gerry Milligan, and 6-3 Jr. Kaleb Britt.  Eastern Kentucky University coach A.W. Hamilton countered with 6-5 So. Peyton Broughton, 6-5 Jr. Jordan Oakley, 6-9 Sr. Nick Mayo, 5-10 Jr. Dujuanta Weaver, and 6-2 Jr. Kelvin Robinson.

 

Eastern Kentucky University scored 34 points off 25 Midway on their way to a 107-52 victory.  EKU shot 47% from the field including 12 of 29 from the three point line.  The Colonels connected on 17 of 24 free throws, pulled down 57 rebounds, and scored 34 points off 25 Midway turnovers.  EKU held a 51-15 in bench scoring.  Midway shot 31% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc.  They connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored four points off 12 EKU turnovers.

 

6-8 Jr. Lachlan Anderson had a career night and led Eastern Kentucky with 22 points and 14 rebounds in 21 minutes.  Nick Mayo added 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, and three steals.  Peyton Broughton recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  Jordan Oakley and 6-2 Fr. Jomaru Brown added 12 and 11 points respectively.  Kelvin Robinson dished out 10 assists and 6-8 Fr. Tre King pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Josh Bustamante led Midway with 16 points including four three point baskets and eight rebounds.  Kaleb Britt also scored 16 points including three three point baskets.  Gerry Milligan dished out eight assists and recorded three steals.
