Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. William Watkins, 6-0 Sr. Harrison Lane, 6-6 Sr. Ross Jenkins, 5-9 Sr. Jaelin Jenkins, and 5-10 Jr. Chris Wharton.  Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-2 Jr. David Burton, 6-1 Sr. Gabriel Schmitt, 6-6 Sr. Christian Terry, 5-9 Jr. Jacob King, and 6-0 Jr. Lucas Burkman.

 

Trinity outscored Lafayette 19-6 in the second quarter on their way to a 75-63 victory.  Trinity shot 50% from the field including 10 of 25 from the three point line.  The Shamrocks connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 23 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 56.1% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 16 Trinity turnovers.

 

Gabriel Schmitt led Trinity with 18 points including two three point baskets.  Jacob King added 17 points including three three point baskets.  6-2 Jr. LJ Harris recorded 15 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  6-3 Fr. David Johnson chipped in with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.  Lucas Burkman added nine points on three three point baskets.

 

5-10 Fr. Evan Dreux led Lafayette with 14 points.  Chris Wharton added 11 points.  5-9 Sr. TJ Downey and 6-0 Jr. Cameron Greenup each recorded eight points.
