Sayre coach Scotty Sutton started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Isabel Pergande, 5-7 Jr. Sydney Strup, 6-0 So. Lainie Tew, 5-2 Sr. Hannah Brady, and 5-5 So. Dee Dee Wheeler.  Spencer County coach Brandy Scott countered with 5-9 So. Abby Myers, 5-6 Sr. Megan Beard, 6-1 Fr. Haylee Cox, 5-5 So. Laurin Lambdin, and 5-5 Fr. Alyssa Howie.

Sayre defeated Spencer County 55-53 in overtime.  The score was tied six times and there were 10 lead changes in this game.  Sayre shot 55% from the field including one of three from the three point line.  The Lady Spartans connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Spencer County turnovers.  Spencer County shot 27.3% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bears connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 25 Sayre turnovers.

Isabel Pergande led Sayre with 18 points, eight rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Dee Dee Wheeler added 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists.  Sydney Strup recorded six points and eight rebounds.  Hannah Brady chipped in with six points, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Lainie Tew added six points and four rebounds.

Alyssa Howie led Spencer County with 16 points, three rebounds, and three steals.  Abby Myers added 10 points.  Laurin Lambdin chipped in with nine points.  5-9 Fr. Kelsey Cotton recorded eight points and seven rebounds.  Audrey Michels added five points, five rebounds, and six steals.
