Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Darius Williams, 6-3 Sr. Justin Kelley, 6-5 Jr. Dontell Brown, 6-0 Sr. Jordan Lewis, and 6-3 Jr. Taveion Hollingsworth.  Henry Clay countered with 6-3 Sr. Leander Ridgeway, 6-3 So. Justin Mitchell, 6-5 Sr. Jordan Houston, 5-9 Sr. JaQuise Simpson, and 6-1 Sr. Isaiah Tisdale.

 

Henry Clay defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar 66-63 in overtime.  Dunbar led 34-21 in the second quarter but Henry Clay rallied for the victory.  There were six lead changes and six ties in the game.  Henry Clay shot 46.9% from the field including seven of 12 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Dunbar turnovers.  Dunbar shot 38% from the field including five of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Bulldogs connected on 20 of 27 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Isaiah Tisdale led Henry Clay with 30 points including three three point baskets and 10 rebounds.  Tisdale was 10 of 13 from the field including three of three from beyond the arc and seven of nine free throws.  Leander Ridgeway added 20 point including three three point baskets. 

 

Taveion Hollingsworth led Dunbar with 24 points and six rebounds.  Jordan Lewis added 19 points.  Dontell Brown recorded nine points and nine rebounds.
