Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Michael Watkins, 6-0 Jr. William Wharton, 6-6 Sr. Ross Jenkins, 5-10 Sr. Jaelin Jenkins, and 6-0 Sr. Harrison Lane.  Lexington Christian Academy coach Nate Valentine countered with 6-5 So. Carter Hendrickson, 6-4 So. Austin Hall, 6-6 Jr. Tre King, 6-2 Sr. Trevor Hill, and 6-5 Fr. Kyle Rode.

 

Lexington Christian Academy outscored Lafayette 47-21 in the second half in a 72-43 victory.  LCA shot 45.1% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  The Eagles connected on 22 of 29 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 25% from the field including one of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on 18 of 26 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 17 LCA turnovers.

 

Carter Hendrickson led LCA with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Kyle Rode added 17 points including nine of nine free throws, seven rebounds, and eight assists.  Trevor Hill recorded 14 points including three three point baskets.  Tre King chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Austin Hall added 10 points and five rebounds.

 

Ross Jenkins led Lafayette with 12 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.  William Watkins added seven points and five rebounds.  5-10 So. Eric Powell recorded seven points and four rebounds.
