Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Kiara Pankins, 5-9 So. Caroline Bennett, 5-9 Sr. Aisha Conwell, 5-6 So. Teri Abram, and 5-8 8th Grade Shelbi Wilson. Berea coach Cassie Ingram countered with 5-10 Jr. Alexandria Horn, 5-8 Sr. Allison Maynard, 6-0 Fr. Adrienne Beggs, 5-5 Jr. Jordan Sandefur, and 5-7 Sr. Hailee Varwig.
Lafayette defeated Berea by a score of 67-35. Lafayette shot 46.3% from the field including nine of 16 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 36 points off 25 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 30.8% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.
Caroline Bennett led Lafayette with 21 points including five three point baskets and six rebounds. Kiara Pankins recorded 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four blocked shots, and six steals. 5-10 Fr. Lindi DiBilzan chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, four assists, and four steals. Teri Abram recorded six points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
Jordan Sandefur led Berea with 21 points including three three point baskets. Allison Maynard added seven points and four steals. Alexandria Horn recorded five points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots.
