Bourbon County  vs.  Tates Creek (Girls)

Bourbon County coach Juan Byars started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Asia Sims, 5-7 Sr. Kylie Hilander, 5-9 Sr. Jazmen Chenault, 5-6 Sr. Alejandra Garza, and 5-6 Sr. Olivia Sparks.  Tates Creek coach Tina Winn countered with 5-8 Sr. Dominique Etling-Turner, 5-6 So. Haley Blackburn, 5-9 Sr. Katie Pippen, 5-5 Sr. Lexi Whaley, and 5-6 Sr. Oney Harrison.

Tates Creek defeated Bourbon County by a score of 70-62.  Tates Creek shot 40% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line.  The Lady Commodores connected on 14 of 33 free throws, pulled down 53 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Bourbon County turnovers.  Bourbon County shot 45.8% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Colonels connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 13 Tates Creek turnovers.

Katie Pippen led Tates Creek with 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and four steals.  Oney Harrison added 21 points including three three point baskets.  Dominique Etling-Turner chipped in with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  Lexi Whaley recorded eight points, four rebounds, and five assists.

Asia Sims led Bourbon County with 20 points and five rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Jessica Stamper added 15 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds.
