(In this scene there is a close up on AJ as he glances to the Dallas and Misty. He looks back to the mirror, holds his fist up and smashes it. There is a loud crashing sound to follow and a wall of water busts through from around them. They are all sucked through the smashed mirror to find themselves, fighting to the surface of the ocean. Dallas comes up choking and gasping in AJ’s arms while Misty calls to her water pokemon to help her float. AJ looks around and thrusts his finger in the direction of a ship, heading their way)
AJ: A SHIP! (tugs Dallas along, with Misty following) Come on!
(The three of them reach the ship and climb aboard it, but they are no longer dressed in their normal clothes, instead the girls are dressed in fancy dresses and AJ is wearing a tux. AJ looks down and notices the change)
AJ: What the hell is this?
Dallas: (sticks up her thumb) You look… good.
AJ: (looks Dallas over) You uh…
Dallas: I’m all wet and this is awful, isn’t it?
AJ: (glances to Misty, avoiding the question) How are your uh… pokemon, Misty?
Misty: (grins) Cold and wet, but they’ll be dry soon. (pulls out the pokeballs to bring her pokemon into them) There. (sighs and lifts her head to the sky) I hope Ash is all right.
Dallas: (gasps) Oh my god… what about Tamera, and Chase and Jess?
AJ: (brings an arm around Dallas’s shoulders) I’m sure they’re fine. You said they’ve done this before.
Dallas: (swallows hard) Not Tamera… she’s only young. She’d never…
AJ: She’s fine.
Dallas: (softly with raised eyebrows) How would you know that?
AJ: Just a feeling. (hugs Dallas to him)
Misty: (through the sentimental moment) Where are we?
(We are panned back to see the large ship, floating along the ocean. Cut to AJ)
AJ: We’re on a ship. (lets go of Dallas.)
( Dallas turns away a look of disappointment)
Dallas: (Looks around her) It’s an old ship. Maybe we can find a date.
AJ: I don’t know ships by their dates, Dallas.
(Dallas grabs the arm of a boy, gently who is trying to run across the deck. )
Dallas: Do you think you could tell us what the date is?
(The boy stares at her wide eyed and brings his finger to his chin)
Boy: Why, it’s 1912 ma’am. April 14th, 1912.
(Dallas lets go of the boy to sink to the deck. The boy runs off and we see him turn the corner)
AJ: (leans down) Dallas? What’s wrong?
Dallas: (looks up to AJ) Titanic.
AJ: What?
Dallas: You’ve never heard of the HMS Titanic that sank on April 14th, 1912?
AJ: (shakes his head) Yeah! The Titanic sank to the bottom of the ocean. I saw some biography on it awhile ago while lazin in my hotel suite.
Dallas: Welcome to the Titanic.
Misty: (Confused) What happened?
Dallas: On it’s first night, this ship sinks, killing 1500 people.
Misty: Oh my…
AJ: Well, obviously, we can’t stay here no more.
Dallas: There’s nowhere else to go, AJ. No matter what we do tonight we will not be able to stop fate.
AJ: Yes we will! We don’t belong on this ship, never mind this century. Fate has already made a turn for the worse.
Misty: (gasps when one of her pokeballs leaps out from inside her bag) Hey! (The pokeball busts open to reveal Togape) Togape, no! You can’t be out…
(Everyone stops to see Togape, waving her paws from one side to the other. She is trying to teleport everyone from the scary ship, but in her haste, she grabs the others to pull them back and we see Ash, Tamera, Lapras, and Pikachu with Jiggly Puff)
Tamera: (bolts up) Oh my god… it’s over. (stares around her and notices Dallas) DALLAS! (leaps away from Lapras and Ash to hug Dallas)
Ash: (looks to Misty, than Togape) Where are we?
Dallas/ AJ/ and Togape: The Titanic.
(Jiggly Puff begins to sing her lullaby and everyone loses their will to stay awake. Pikachu is screaming for Jiggly Puff to stop while he holds his ears, but she doesn’t and eventually even he falls asleep… this leads into the beginning of a dark night and the cold air pulls everyone from their slumber to wake up shivering)
Ash: (huddles up to Lapras) W…why is it so cold?
Dallas: (in a scared tone) It’s happening… it’s cold and dark now.
Tamera: (trying to pull herself into a sitting position) What’s happening?
Dallas: The fate of this ship.
(Cold breath is showing from each of them now)
Tamera: (gasping, she stumbles closer to Ash, keeping a tight hold on Lapras) I’m scared…
Ash: (places a hand on Tamera’s back) It can’t be all that bad. Maybe we’ll…
(Ash’s words are cut off when the ship jerks hard, tossing them across the deck)
Dallas: We HIT! Somebody stop this! Why can’t anyone stop this?
AJ: (grabs Dallas to bring her down to the deck) Nothing will happen, Dallas. We’ll escape this thing before fate has a chance for anything.
Dallas: Not much time.
AJ: I saw it.. I know what time we have. One hour, two at most.
(Dallas stares up at AJ, breathing heavily and the scene closes on them)
