(This scene finds us with Dallas whom has ended up with AJ, and Misty on the set of the new version, “I’ll Never Break Your Heart”. AJ is lounging on the sofa on his set while Dallas is admiring the puzzle pieces mirror and Misty is sitting in a chair, opposite AJ)
AJ: (sighs) This isn’t too bad, is it girls? (grins at the two girls)
Dallas: (touches the mirror) We can’t stay here… (turns to stare at AJ and Misty) We have to find my friends. They know what this is all about, and maybe they’ll know how to make it right again.
Misty: (adding in new courage) I must find Ash and Pikachu.
AJ: We don’t even know where they are. Where are we supposed to look? And how do we get out of here to do that?
Misty: (looks around) What is this place, anyway?
Dallas: (answers before AJ does) This is the set of The Backstreet Boys, new video for I’ll Never Break Your Heart.
Misty: (still confused) Sure… okay. (looks to Dallas) Backstreet what?
Dallas: I’ll explain it to you later, okay? Right now, we have to find our way out of here.
AJ: Think you could go without me? (leans back on the sofa)
Dallas/Misty: (spin around to face AJ in unison) What?
AJ: (shrugs) What?
Dallas: You can’t just let us do this alone. We need some kind of male figure.
Misty: Yeah.
AJ: (goes to say something in his defense, but he stops to a face that has appeared in the mirror and he points to it) Someone uh… is paging us.
(Both Misty and Dallas scream and run to gather near AJ)
Dallas: (scared voice) Who are you?
Face in the Mirror: My name’s Jim and I’m here to warn you all that if you don’t leave here there will be more trouble. He’s just waiting for you to let your guard down, do you understand?
AJ: What are you talking about? Who the hell is “he”?
Jim: (disappearing) Edward… get out of there…
AJ: (screaming frantic now) HEY! HEY JIM! Give us an out here! (slams his hand down on the arm of the sofa) Damnit! (takes a hold of Misty’s and Dallas’s hands) Come on we have to get out of here, and I think I know how. (stares into the mirror)
(We hear a noise, like a dripping and through the wall, we suddenly see water seeping through, spilling onto the floor. AJ clutches the girls close to him as he analyzes the water)
AJ: This better work.
(Of course we don’t see what AJ is going to do because we have to end this scene and see what the others are up to)
