2nd August 2003. Loch Nan Geadas.
Went to Loch Nan Geadas with my son, daughter, nephew, mum and dad, just for 3 to 4
hours fishing conditions wasn't very good blowing a gale and heavy showers
didn't help much when casting into it. we had nothing for the first few hours of the morning then
I got a run at about 11:30 am on the mackerel tail deadbait a good hard fight from the fish came
clear out of the water looked a good sized one, then it got into the weeds which made it tougher
to take in but less struggle on the fish didn't fight as much, got it onto the
bank a nice clean looking fish of 11.½ lb nice start since I haven't been out for 4 months but that was it for the day. |

Season 2002
6th January 2002. Loch
Luichart.
Fished Loch Luichart for the
first outing of the year, got there just as daylight started to break cold
and showers of rain with about a foot of snow on the ground. Set the rods
up and got fishing seen 4 swirls on top of the water so that was promising
fished with mackerel, roach, sardines, and some coloured sardines at
10-45 am the first run on Gary's rod a pike at 6.¼ lb and returned to the
Loch safely a further 2 runs after that on Gary's rod but nothing
and that was it for the day just the one fish. (and still no sign of the
hat personal joke) lol. |

29th March 2002. Loch Cluanie.
Went to Loch Cluanie lovely
day it was blue sky sun was shining and warmest day we had this year at
spring been fishing for about 3 hours and Gary got the First run of the
day nice clean looking fish with these red markings again on the side a
pike of 8.½lb caught free lined sardine. Then about an hour or so later I
was into a run a pike of 6.¼ lb with a deformed back caught using a small
roach, Gary was into another run a pike of 8.½lb and looks like the
previous pike that he had caught that morning was caught using a small
roach. Ian was into a run but the fish got away better luck next time Ian.
Photo's will follow shortly. |

12th April 2002. Loch Nan Geadas.
Fished at Loch Ceo Glais it
was cold and frosty first thing in morning and we fished until 11am
spinner rod going with a perch Big S after a few casts had a pike on
but got off then i tried a homemade jerk lure tried that another hit but
got off so gave up on the spinning. Few hours later into my first run and
not even a bite so we decided to head to Loch Nan Geadas got the baits
casted out and i had the and line broke and a second run line broke again
so me and Gary never caught anything that day, but Ian did a few missed
runs then he was into a pike weighed in at 10.¾ lb and a 5 lb pike so the
day wasn't a disaster after all. |

pictured on the right which was caught using a red dyed sardine (did you get a run Gary lol personal joke).
Then I had a couple of other pike at 2.½ lb and one at 6 lb, with many
