Recap of Year 01, Century of the Confused Turtle

In the Spring Prime, as would be expected, the supplicants nearly all participated in a general diaspora. The only holdouts were Muntab, keeping its Brindisian fleet moored, and XXXX, who did not grace the Test with orders.

XXXX was forthwith declared forfeit, and a replacement sought. Such a supplicant would not have made a good prophet.

There were no clashing armies or ramming fleets in this, the first move. Ergo, no retreats were needed.

Then, in Autumn Secundus, most of the potential prophets settled themselves in new provinces. Agatea gained a foothold on the main continent at Ecalpon, and the Oggs planted some family members in the Brown Islands, far from their native mountains. In an interesting alliance, the Barbarians helped the Genuans to take Uberwald (though there was no contest from the Patricians forces in Borogravia, who were busily helping fellow countrymen against the Muntab force in Ushistan).

Speaking of Muntab, the Brindisian fleet remains, unaccountably, moored at the pier -- perhaps the Theocracy's conscription efforts are not working? -- and the fleet which in Spring Prime had sailed away from Rehigreed Province returned for Hogswatchnight celebrations. The Patrician's Prid of Ankh-Morpork sailed out of the Circle Sea into the Pseudopolitan Sea, which made observers shake their heads in wonder. And finally, XXXX began its walkabout, sending fleets out Rimwards. Since the lone Ecksian army stayed in barracks polishing studs, perhaps this should rather be termed a sailabout?

At the beginning of Backspindlewinter, then, all supplicants are facing the opportunity to build two units, except Muntab and XXXX. After this wave of drafts, all countries except XXXX (owing to its late start) will have five units.
