Bourbon County coach Lamont Campbell started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Mukonkole Lukonga, 6-4 Jr. Jack Huckabay, 6-7 Sr. Brycen Collins, 5-9 Sr. Nakyir Joyce, and 6-1 Sr. Amirion Joyce.  Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-3 Sr. Marques Warrick, 6-1 Sr. Sebian Dillard, 6-2 Sr. Marquis Mackey, 5-9 Sr. Terron Hughes, and 6-0 So. Kanye Henderson.

 

Marques Warrick hit a three point basket at the buzzer to give Henry Clay a 70-67 victory over Bourbon County.  Henry Clay led 20-10 in the second quarter but Bourbon County rallied to lead 55-48 after three quarters before the Blue Devils rallied for the victory.  Henry Clay shot 56% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line.  The Blue Devils connected on four of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 14 points off nine Bourbon County turnovers.  Bourbon County shot 49% from the field including five of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 13free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 17 Henry Clay turnovers.

 

Marques Warrick led Henry Clay with 35 points including five three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Warrick was 14 of 16 from the field including five of six beyond the arc, and two of two free throws.  Sebian Dillard added 13 points and seven rebounds.  Terron Hughes chipped in with nine points and four assists.

 

Amirion Joyce led Bourbon County with 21 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots, and two steals.  Nakyir Joyce added 17 points, four assists, and three steals.  Brycen Collins chipped in with 10 points.
