Casey County coach Tara Weddle started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Natalie Duggins, 5-6 Sr. Gena Cravens, 5-10 Sr. Shaylah Wilkey, 5-5 Sr. Lauren Lee, and 5-6 Sr. Jordyn Stephens.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-11 So. Alex Wolff, 5-8 Sr. Destinee Marshall, 6-0 Sr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Erin Toller, and 5-6 Fr. Triniti Ralston.

Sacred Heart Academy eked out an 83-81 victory over Casey County tonight.  There were 14 lead changes and seven ties in this game.  Sacred Heart shot 58.8% from the field including five of 11 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 18 of 24 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 16 Casey County turnovers.  Casey County shot 51.9% from the field including 11 of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on 16 of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Kristen Clemons led Sacred Heart with 27 points including 11 of 13 free throws, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Destinee Marshall added 21 points including two three point baskets.  Erin Toller recorded 18 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds.

Gena Cravens led Casey County with 24 points including six three point baskets, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Natalie Duggins added 21 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and two assists.  Lauren Lee recorded 15 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals.  Jordyn Stephens chipped in with 10 points and five assists.
