Madison Central coach Brad Lovely started the following lineup: 5-9 Jr. Raelynn Miller, 5-7 Sr. Taleya Todd, 5-11 Sr.  Jekauri McKeithen, 5-4 Fr. Eve Carter, and 5-5 Jr. Brianna Bierbaum.  Berea coach Dammian Stepp countered with 6-0 So. Madison Howell, 5-8 So. Alexis Newman, 6-0 So. Mackenzie Howell, 5-0 So. Isis Rodgers, and 5-9 Fr. Chesney Lovins.

 

Berea defeated Madison Central by a score of 51-48.  The score was tied three times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  The game was won at the free throw line as Madison Central was whistled for 18 fouls and Berea only was charged with six fouls.  Madison central was three of six from the free throw line while Berea was 19 of 31 from the charity stripe.  Berea shot 31.1% from the field including four of 16 from the three point line.  The Pirates pulled down 34 rebounds and scored 13points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.  Madison Central shot 36.4% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Indians pulled down 39 rebounds and scored seven points off 10 Berea turnovers.

 

Madison Howell led Berea with 19 points including eight of 11 free throws and seven rebounds.  Alexis Newman added 14 points including three three point baskets.  Isis Rodgers recorded seven points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  Mackenzie Howell added six points and four rebounds. 

 

Taleya Todd led Madison Central with 14 points and six rebounds.  Brianna Bierbaum added 12 points including three three point baskets.  Jekauri McKeithen recorded six points, nine rebounds, and three assists.  5-50 Jr. Gretchen Hammitt chipped in with six points and four rebounds.  Eve Carter added five points, five rebounds, three assists, and five steals.
