Bryan Station vs. Lexington Catholic (Girls)

Bryan Station coach Brian Hall started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Rhiona Marshall, 5-8 So. Tania Woodall, 6-1 Jr. Olea Woodall, 5-2 Jr. Natoria Godoy, and 5-4 Jr. Escarlis Perez.  Lexington Catholic coach Don Tegt countered with 5-11 So. Chloe Treece, 5-8 Jr. Ariel West, 5-10 Jr. Emma Frank, 5-6 So. Hannah Carlisle, and 5-8 Jr. Farah Weldon.

 

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 41-19 lead on their way to a 51-42 victory over Bryan Station.  Lexington Catholic shot 28.1% from the field including four of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 11 of 29 free throws, pulled down 51 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 35 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 30.2% from the field including two of 15 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 27 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

 

Chloe Treece led Lexington Catholic with 14 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three steals.  5-7 Fr. Katherine Truitt added 10 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals.  Farah Weldon recorded eight points, nine rebounds, and two steals.  Ariel West added eight points, four rebounds, and five steals.

 

Olea Woodall led Lexington Catholic with 13 points, 16 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Natoria Godoy added seven points, three rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.  Tania Woodall recorded five points, six rebounds, five blocked shots, and two steals.  Rhiona Marshall chipped in with six points, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.
