Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Alex Wolff, 5-8 Sr. Destinee Marshall, 6-0 Sr. Kristen Clemons, 5-5 Sr. Erin Toller, and 5-6 Fr. Triniti Ralston.  Anderson County coach Clay Birdwhistell countered with 5-10 So. Amiya Jenkins, 5-8 Sr. Anna Foley, 6-1 So. Jacie Chesser, 5-7 Jr. Rachel Satterly, and 5-8 Jr. Sophie Smith.

Sacred Heart held on down the stretch to eke out a 60-58 victory over Anderson County on the road.  Anderson County raced out to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter but Sacred Heart rallied to outscore Anderson County 19-9 in the third quarter to lead 46-44 after three quarters.  Sacred Heart shot 38.8% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 47 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 39.2% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Bearcats connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Destinee Marshall led Sacred Heart with 18 points including four three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.  Erin Toller added 17 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.  Kristen Clemons recorded 11 points, 18 rebounds, and five blocked shots.  Triniti Ralston chipped in with 10 points, two assists, and two blocked shots.

Anna Foley led Anderson County with 13 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists.  Rachel Satterly added 11 points including two three point baskets.  Sophie Smith recorded 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-11 Jr. Tiffani Riley chipped in with nine points.
