The (current Doctor) Internet Adventures (usually just called IAs
as noted on the main page of this site) are a largely continuous series of stories
that start out straight after the events of the 1996 telemovie. Over the course of
26 adventures spanning seven years, the 8th Doctor was been joined by a number of
brave souls most of whom were created by the writers of the IAs. A brief spotter's

The BBC's "virtual" casting of actor Richard E Grant as the official face of the 9th Doctor for the 40th Anniversary story Scream of the Shalka resulted in the 27th Internet Adventure being a 9th Doctor story as we once again attempted to pre-empt the newest incarnation of our favourite heroic time traveller. The following story saw the Doctor, Alison and the Master, post Scream in what turned out to be their only Internet Adventure before attention was switched to the new 9th Doctor and his companion Rose Tyler, played by Christopher Eccleston & Billie Piper respectively, as we yet again try to beat the show to the punch. Their first adventure takes place in IA #29. There is also a mailing list for talking about all aspects of the IAs, including sign-ups for the next one. Although it's really cool if you've read the previous IAs, a writer's guide containing all the relevant details about the ongoing characters is issued everytime a new IA starts up so newcomers can dive straight in.
All 26 of the Internet Adventures completed to date are archived off this page,
both in .ZIP format and as individual chapters. The current story - IA#29 - will be archived here chapter by chapter.
