IA #7 - Tangent

Book-cover
"Goodbye, Doctor?" the green Cyberman queried. "Nothing ends. Wheels turn, cycles begin and end. You, that begins and ends lives as part of function, you should know better than anyone."

Altos 3 - a planet of no stragic significance; the perfect place for the Doctor and Wil to enjoy a quiet drink. But, in avoiding a bar-room brawl they attract the attention of a girl named Bevin - sent by her grandmother to find them. But why is Bevin so reluctant to let the Doctor and her grandmother meet? And what is the source of Bevin's grandmother's precognition?

But soon more important problems rear their heads. A alien space-ship lands, carrying silver giants for whom Altos 3 offers the hope of survival. And something else; a legacy of a long-destroyed civilisation, and an old enemy of the Doctor.

This is another round-robin story featuring the 8th Doctor.
